     King Fahd Hospital was founded in 1980 as one of 5 similar hospitals in different parts of the kingdom in the period of late King Fahd Bin Abdul-Aziz. During the past 3 decades King Fahd Hospital has grown to be highly reputable medical center with a total of 612 bed capacity. It is the largest government hospital rendering excellent medical services in most major specialties and subspecialties. King Fahd Hospital is also a referral center for trauma cases in the region. Hosting more than 515 imminent consultants, specialist and general practioners, some of them are internationally recognized in their speciality supported by 904 nurses and large number of technical and administrative staff.
